The leading brand of Irish Single Pot Still Whiskey, Redbreast was originally created by W.A.Gilbey's with the spirit supplied by Jameson's from their Bow Street Distillery. Redbreast is now owned by Irish Distillers and created at their Midleton Distillery in Cork. It is widely regarded as the leading example of Irish Single Pot Still Whiskey, which uses a mixed mash bill of malted barley, unmalted barley and other cereals before being triple-distilled.
