Established in 1971 to provide malt for the Haig blends (such as Dimple), Mannochmore distillery occupied the same premises as its sister Glenlossie, and until 2007 the two distilleries shared the same staff, who alternated between stills to provide malt of two different styles. With the revival of demand for whisky in the new millennium, Mannochmore and Glenlossie now both produce full-time.
The famous and now discontinued 'Black Whisky' Loch Dhu 10-year-old from Mannochmore.
