Global Whisky Auctions

Frequently Asked Questions

Firstly, the seller sends or delivers in person the bottle or bottles that are to be sold. The bottle information is then entered into the auction system and photographs are taken ready to be placed into the next available auction. Once the auction goes live, buyers are invited to place bids on the auction lots. Once the auction ends, the buyer with the highest bid wins the lot and has 5 working days to pay for the lots which he or she has won. The seller will be paid within 21 days of the end of the auction (assuming the buyer has paid).
